M25 Closure Updates for 2024
Weekend Closures for Highway Improvements
In an effort to enhance infrastructure and improve traffic flow, several full weekend closures will be implemented on the A3 and M25 throughout 2024. These closures are essential for the ongoing construction and maintenance of these major roadways.
Upcoming M25 Closure
The M25 will experience another full weekend closure from 9pm Friday, February 23rd to 6am Monday, February 26th. This closure will impact the section between Junction 9 and Junction 10 (Cobham) in both directions. Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes or expect significant delays.
The closure is necessary for the continuation of work on the Junction 10 improvement scheme, aimed at enhancing capacity and reducing congestion at one of the busiest interchanges on the M25.
Additional Closures
In addition to the upcoming February closure, the M25 will also be subject to the following closures in 2024:
- May 10th-13th: Junction 8 (A217 Reigate) to Junction 10 (Cobham)
- Additional dates to be announced
